Customer’s needs
The Client aims to:

  • reduce disposal costs;
  • achieve ZLD and water reuse;
  • consider a technological solution which allowed to re-sell the by-product in the future.

The solution provided
To achieve this goal the solution provided consists of an evaporator  RV F 60, with a distillate production capacity of 60 ton/day and a footprint of 10.5 m2.
EVALED® RV F is the line of mechanical recompression evaporators designed to reach the highest level of reliability in heat transfer, with minimum impact in terms of fouling and scaling.
High efficiency forced circulation shell & tube heat exchanger with horizontal tubes allows wastewater concentration up to the salts solubility limits and to manage also suspended crystals.

The solution achieved

  • complete ZLD: waste water reduction 100%
  • a remarkable wastewater disposal costs reduction

The client chose the same solution for other 5 production plants in North America, Europe and South East Asia.
