The Client is one of world's most important coffee roaster and one of the market leaders in Italy. The company has eight production sites in the world.

**THE CLIENT'S REQUEST**

Finding a treatment solution able to reduce the disposal cost of the coffee wastewater generated by one of the coffee capsules manufacturing production sites in Italy. Furthermore, it is requested to achieve and comply with the local discharge or even reuse.

Evaporation technology: 2 x PC F 1.4  
Construction material: AISI 316  
Overall dimensions: 2 x 1.7 sqm

**ADDITIONAL PLANT FOR A SECOND FACTORY IN ITALY**  
Evaporation technology: PC F 2.4  
Construction material: AISI 316  
Overall dimensions: 2.5 sqm

RESULTS  
   
 - Water recovery: ∼93%  
 - Concentration factor: 15 times  
 - Wastewater disposal cost reduction (in the future the concentrate will be sent to a Biogas Plant to produce Electrical Energy);  
 - Distillate discharge in compliance with the stringent local limits or reuse for floor cleaning.
